I call this photo... "Grass". Part of the "Photos in da Park" collection.
I know this is Australia, but how can that not be news???
(Oh look! There's an opinion piece about it in ABC's Religion and Ethics section. It wasn't there last night. That's still pretty pathetic coverage.)
Here's the second batch of "Photos in da Park!" The first four, in case you just think there are a couple of piles of rubbish in the park, are of a sculpture.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. (NIV)
A few years ago, I was walking along the street and I saw a man walking further ahead on the other side of the road. For some reason it occurred to me that God wanted me to talk to him about Jesus. Of course, the idea was ridiculous, but just in case…
“Alright,” I said to God, “I will talk to that guy if he crosses the street to this side of the road.”
A minute or so later, he crossed to my side of the road.
“Come on,” I said, “that doesn’t mean anything. The Shopping Centre is on this side of the road. He’s just going there. Lord, if you want me to talk to this guy, he needs to cross back over the road and go to the Library.”
Shortly after I said that, he crossed the road again and went into the Library.
My heart was pounding.
Winston Churchill said someone else said it, but he said it too...
This is often repeated by Christians, but I don't think Christians believe it. Christians like democracy. No, we LURRRRRVE it!
