Up-bringing Kids: Training vs. Control.

Jeremy over at From Eden to Zion has a very worthwhile post for parents called, Controlling Chaos vs. Obedience Training for Young Children.

Do I need to say any more? The title gives you the gist of it.

Give it a read.

Bringing up children has always been difficult and for any number of reasons. The primary reason is that with rare exception nobody has a real clue as to how to do it with Spiritual sensitivity and intelligence.

Very few “adults” have ever grown up themselves, and are just dramatising their own uninspected child-hood emotional-sexual patterning on to their children, and everything that they do altogether.

We quite literally DO pass our “sins” on to our children.

When will the for-ever tragic circle/cycle be broken?

That having been said please check out these references on Conscious Child-Rearing and emotional-sexual Understanding.

Plus 2 references from completely different sources on the heart-breaking tragedy of what we do to our children.

Okay, John I’d be interested in interacting with the points of view here, but I really don’t have time. I have decided to approve your comment, though other readers shouldn’t think I agree with John’s point of view here at all.

Still, other points of view are always interesting to check out, so if you wish to, feel free.
